During Living the Dream, Jelmer van Beek gives the audience a unique behind-the-scenes look at his participation in The Ocean Race. How do you put together a team under extreme conditions? How do you stay on course in the face of adversity? And what do you do when a killer whale literally attacks your boat?

Jelmer was the youngest skipper in the race in 2023 and led Team JAJO, an international team of 10 sailors. Under great pressure, he managed to motivate the team and together achieve an impressive second place.
