Joey Litjens was known as the Max Verstappen of road racing and seemed destined for the top, but had to climb up from a deep valley after a bad crash. A raw and inspiring story about racing, a bad crash, addiction and getting back up again.
At the age of 15, he made his debut as the youngest Grand Prix 125cc competitor ever. In 2006, his boyhood dream came true and he got to compete at the very highest level of motorsports as a regular Grand Prix rider. Success did not come his way. Struggles with the tough top sporting world, crashes and setbacks forced him to take a step back. Joey did not let his head hang and found another route after the world top, until that fateful day in May 2009.
Motivating audiences to set goals and providing motivation to achieve goals Joey does so by passionately sharing his experiences. Topics such as self-reflection and adaptability are explained with an innovative perspective.
