Directed theater is relatable, interactive and disarming. together with you, your topic is discussed. What is needed? Where is the focus? Then we get to work. After writing a solid script, Arianda Schepens steps on stage together with fellow actors from Hebbes Theater and shows the audience how communication, often with the best intentions, can go completely wrong.
In the first scene you see it go wrong. In the second round, you get to direct: the audience directs the players. A small clue, a different approach ... and suddenly the conversation runs completely differently. Recognizable, hilarious and surprisingly instructive.
Laughter is allowed. Gladly even. But in the meantime we do touch on the themes that matter. We make difficult themes accessible
for discussion. We love to hear what themes you want to explore. we write each scene individually and always start with a good conversation to check if we can offer exactly what you are looking for.

Arianda has been a training actor since the 1990s. Based on this expertise, she has played and handled every conceivable topic. Regietheater shows where there is chafing. The audience has a say in the outcome of the conversation you see on stage. Arianda is also a trainer and can therefore lead the conversation didactically. She is director/owner of Hebbes Academy and Hebbes training.

I would like to commend the wonderful interactive discussion during the Day of the Mantelzorger. It was a meeting that made an impression and that I look back on with a good feeling. Introduction: The opening by you Arianda was pleasant. Your personal stories created a warm atmosphere and were a nice icebreaker to start the conversation. Authenticity: Being a caregiver yourself, you spoke with sincere commitment and recognizable experiences. That gave the whole thing strength and credibility. Acting: You and Judith did a super job. The kitchen table scene was not only fun and relatable, but also managed to stir emotions. It caused both laughter and tears in the audience. Gathering: I felt that the talk brought people closer together. The attendees felt comfortable, were open, and enjoyed sharing experiences with like-minded people. That made the threshold to participate a lot lower. That's what both Elise and I got back from the participants. What a great collaboration with Arianda! From the first contact it was clear that she takes her role as chairperson seriously. In the preparatory phase of my conference Aandacht voor mensenwerk (Attention for people at work) she actively thought along, brought in original and practical ideas and was visibly involved in the whole. Everything was prepared down to the last detail; even on the day itself she checked in with me to make sure everything went smoothly. Arianda made a direct connection with the audience. With her humor, open attitude and alertness, she effortlessly responded to what was happening at the time. This created a natural flow and relaxed atmosphere that really kept the participants engaged. In her own unique way, she brought the topic of work happiness to life. I admired her professionalism and positive energy. A very nice collaboration that I can heartily recommend!

We found it an incredibly fun and valuable session. The theme of happiness at work, which often feels somewhat abstract or 'soft', was presented in a clear and concrete way, giving us a real grip on it. It was inspiring to see how you can measure, test and translate happiness at work into goals. The insights from the TOPPS model also contributed a lot. The combination of content and storytelling from beginning to end made it a fascinating and tangible story. A session we are happy to recommend.
