In their youth, Kees Kwakman and Freek Jansen played against each other as youngsters of FC Volendam and De Graafschap. Now Kwakman and Jansen can be booked as a duo for an evening full of special, funny, sad and revealing anecdotes, which they can relate in a sharp way. With Jansen as starter and Kwakman as finisher, a guarantee for an entertaining evening!

Kees Kwakman grew into a well-known soccer player in the Eredivisie, at clubs such as FC Volendam, NAC Breda and FC Groningen, while he also experienced special adventures abroad at FC Augsburg in Germany and South Africa's Bidvest Wits. Jansen went on to illuminate soccer from the sidelines, traveling the world as a reporter for Voetbal International, following coaches and players up close and experiencing all kinds of experiences.

Yet Jansen and Kwakman continued to run into each other. Jansen gave Kwakman his first interview for VI (see photo), which chief editor Johan Derksen called controversial. Kwakman has now found his place as an analyst at sports channel ESPN and Jansen combines his role as reporter with that of editor-in-chief at VI. Moreover, he recently made his appearance in the TV program "De Slimste Mens," where he stood out for his spiky imitations of well-known personalities. He was also a guest on a live show of De Cor Potcast.

Leuke presentatie van Kees en Freek!

Leuke presentatie van Kees en Freek. Heel vermakelijk, alsof we in de ESPN studio aanwezig waren bij Voetbalpraat. De interactie tussen Kees en Freek is leuk en natuurlijk. Mooie anekdotes over hun ervaringen. Voor de voetballiefhebber een goede aanvulling op je event. De Oranje-selectie werd 5 minuten voor aanvang bekendgemaakt, dus daar konden ze mooi op inspelen. De afstemming vooraf met Kees verliep ook heel goed. Erg fijn in de communicatie, aardige mensen.

Kees Kwakman told how, thanks to "soccer humor" from others, he had reached the base of FC Volendam, experienced successes from Roosendaal to Groningen, went on an adventure in South Africa and finally talked his way into the ESPN spotlight. We enjoyed the great anecdotes and images.
