In 2018, he became known worldwide for his participation in the Golden Globe Race, a non-stop solo sailing race around the world, finishing second after 214 days at sea - without modern technology or contact with the outside world. As if that wasn't enough, he also broke the world ocean rowing record by crossing the Atlantic Ocean in just 30 days.

These experiences have shaped him into a speaker who inspires and motivates.
