For some time Jaap has combined his years of journalistic experience with his personal interest in a healthy lifestyle. This interest stems from his love of sports: as a tennis player, basketball player and, for some time
now, as an avid kickboxer.
He likes to share his knowledge and his own experiences with a wide audience, which he wants to inspire with his passion for a healthy lifestyle. The readers of Nouveau magazine bombarded him with questions about healthy eating, among other things, and Jaap also inspired the employees of the Dutch Railways to live a vital life, even at the office, during a New Year's meeting.
