Wil Boonstra has many years of experience with the beautiful instrument, the bandoneon. Together with international artists he has given many performances throughout Europe. Book Wil to get the Argentine atmosphere in your house!

At the end of the 90s Wil Boonstra collaborated on the CD 'Acuarela Guarani' (musica del Paraguay) by the trio Guarapo Tres, led by the Paraguayan singer/guitarist Alberto Casanova. This CD is regularly played on the Radio National in Paraguay. At the same time he was active for years as a bandoneon player in the successful tango trio Bien de Bute, led by the Argentine singer/pianist Javier Fatta. This tango trio performed mainly in Argentinean tango salons in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Sweden. Bien de Bute recorded the CD 'Bien de Bute live in Amsterdam'.

Besides his work as a bandoneon player with accompanying ensembles of various tango singers, recordings for film music and projects for theatre music, in recent years he has immersed himself in the extensive solo repertoire for the bandoneon. This repertoire includes compositions by José Mosalini, Astor Piazzolla, arrangements of Rudolf Mederos and classical tangos, but also folk music.
