René Trok is one of our country's most inspired accordionists. With decades of musical experience and many hundreds of songs repertoire, René knows how to provide any occasion with a musical setting. On accordion or keyboard, for private occasions or corporate parties ... René is at home in all markets.

With his Amsterdam accent and home base, René can regularly be found in all corners of the Netherlands. You can book him as a solo accordionist, but also with friendly singers, Amsterdam artists and other musicians.

René was given a piggy bank with a knaak (nowadays about 1 euro) by his grandfather when he was born. René's parents said; 'that's for a piece of music'. Six years later, René began his accordion studies and soon added lessons in organ.

His father was a great stimulator and motivator. Actually, in his youth, Dad would have liked to make music himself, but he lacked the money at the time. However, René was able to take music lessons until he was 20, including with the twin brothers de Booy and with the famous Elly Meekel.

René was only seven when he played in various accordion orchestras. First with 'Nassau', later with 'Euterpe'. There he lasted 28 years as an orchestra member. His first arrangements were also written there. Later he was orchestra leader of 'Musica', among others.
