Cor Bakker began playing the piano at age 11 and was later inspired by Louis van Dijk to further develop his talent. He graduated cum laude from the conservatory and went on to further his musical development in Los Angeles under the guidance of his great musical inspiration, Clare Fischer. He has received many prestigious awards, including the Gouden Harp, the Kiwanis Jazz Award, and the Gouden Notenkraker. Since April of this year, Cor has also been honored with the title of Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau!

Through his appearances on numerous radio and TV programs (including *Paul de Leeuw*, *Cor & Co.*, Cor op Reis, The Passion, and others), Cor has become a celebrity with musical success that transcends generations.
