Sita Vermeulen has been known for years as a singer, presenter and musical star. Book Sita now on Showbird!

In recent years, Sita Vermeulen has managed to build an impressive career. In 2001 she got off to a flying start with her performance in the TV show Starmaker, in which twelve young talents competed for a spot in pop band K-otic. After being part of the popular pop group for a short time, Sita released her debut album solo in 2001. Happy' was already gold on the day of release and came in at number 2 in the album Top 100.
At the end of 2001, on the occasion of the marriage of Prince Willem Alexander and Maxima, she recorded the duet 'Lopen Op Het Water' with Marco Borsato. This song was also number 1 on the Dutch charts for weeks. Sita also won three TMF awards: for Best Singer, Best Single ('Happy') and Best Music video ('Happy').

At the end of 2002 she was high on the French charts with 'Le Chemin', a French-speaking duet with the band KYO. Later that year this collaboration was rewarded with an NRJ Award for "Best Single". Come With Me was the title of Sita's second album, which featured a number of French songs, especially for her French fans.
