Keynote: Mental Fitness for Leaders in the Tech Sector — Top Performance Without Burnout
What happens when a software engineer starts “debugging” her own mind? In this keynote, Irene Anggreeni shares her personal story—from anxiety and depression to mental fitness—along with a practical three-step plan to help tech professionals and leaders perform at their best, find more joy in their work, and avoid burnout.
What can your audience expect? An energizing talk that blends a candid personal story with immediately usable techniques. Irene introduces her framework "Monitoring, Debugging, Regular Updates": an approach in engineering language to recognize and intercept sabotaging thought patterns (such as perfectionism, over-controlling, and people-pleasing) before they hit the team. Participants experience a short mental fitness practice on the spot and take home micro-practices for between meetings, during 1:1s, or while the code compiles. Suitable as a keynote, talk, or speaker session at conferences, tech events, summits, leadership days, and internal kick-offs.

Perfect. I’ll always remember “Move It, Move It.” You could hear the audience laughing—everyone was completely engaged. I also thought the “debug” concept was really strong. Halfway through your presentation, I even went to look you up on LinkedIn. Then, of course, I came right back, because I really enjoyed listening to you. The way you explained who you’re helping, what problem you’re solving, and what your solution is was incredibly well put together. It really resonated with me. Now I’m heading over to YouTube to support you there as well. God bless you on the rest of your journey.

That was an amazing experience. And I especially want to emphasize the word “experience”! Your voice, the way you presented, and the exercise you led gave my thoughts plenty of space and calmed my entire system. Congratulations! You did a truly wonderful job.

I was in the audience at TEDxEindhoven, and I really appreciated the way you explained how you overcame clinical depression by taking small, deliberate steps. The moment with “I Like to Move It” gave the message a nice burst of energy. All the talks were powerful in their own way, but yours offered a clear and practical perspective on mental fitness. Thank you for sharing your story so openly. Very well done!

You were already one of the well-deserved winners at the pitch event, and on the TEDxEindhoven stage, you even exceeded the already high expectations. Great talk! Congratulations!
