What do you do when life forces you to start over?
Peter knows what it feels like when your future suddenly becomes uncertain. He overcame an incomplete spinal cord injury, endured an intensive course of chemotherapy, and then rebuilt his business.
Through these experiences, he has learned how important it is to find your inner strength, hold on to your goals, and persevere time and time again, no matter the circumstances.
Imagine walking through your house at night in the dark, bumping into a laundry basket, falling to the floor, and being unable to move. This is what happened to Peter in 2013. A grueling surgery, an incredibly challenging rehabilitation, and then the shocking diagnosis: cancer. That was just the beginning of a grueling treatment journey. But he kept his eyes on the prize: being able to play the drums again—something he’s been doing professionally since he was 19. The result: a benefit concert at Paradiso for cancer research. He talks about this journey, the ups and downs, the impact on his relationship, and how deep he had to dig to get everything back on track.
He has chronicled his
journey from vulnerability to resilience in his book *My Dance with Cancer*. He speaks candidly about his path to recovery and the life lessons he’s learned along the way. Drawing from this deeply personal struggle, he shares how perseverance and a positive mindset can help you overcome life’s challenges, discover your inner strength, and pursue a clear goal.
