In my lectures, I take audiences on a deeply personal journey, full of stories of resilience and adaptability, told from my own perspective as someone who faced an incurable brain tumor at the age of 24. I share not only the physical and mental trials I endured - from risky brain surgery to intensive rehabilitation - but also the life lessons I learned along the way about acceptance, hope and perseverance.
In addition, my background in Ukraine and my experience as a commodity trader in corrupt and challenging markets give me a unique perspective on the world. This perspective provides me with keen insight into personal challenges, as well as broader, global issues that affect us all. My story is
not only meant to inspire, but also offers practical insights into dealing with uncertainty and high pressure, including in the workplace.
On the television program Over Mijn Lijk, I candidly shared my story and battle with cancer. The program offered an intimate look at my life with this disease - the challenges, but also the moments of hope and perseverance. With my story, I want to inspire others to find strength despite setbacks and walk their own path full of courage and determination.
