The group is known for their flaming costumes and their elegant, graceful style. Flames of Chaos perform all kinds of shows, from small scale, close contact shows, walkround-acts, parades, dance or street theatre, short performances of five minutes to half an hour theatre shows.

The group has performed at festivals such as Dance Valley and street festivals in and outside the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, museum nights, weddings, art festivals such as Gogbot, Mooi Weer Spelen, Straattheater Festival Woerden, they have performed at places such as Ahoy, Archeon, Gelredome, Keukenhof, Paradiso, Effenaar, Het Paard etc. Flames of Chaos also accompanied the concerts of bands like Epica and The Dreamside
