Jansma co-hosted the KRO program *Sport op Vrijdag* with former swimmer Hansje Bunschoten. He also served as an editor for *Voetbal International* for many years. After leaving his position as editor, he continued to write columns for the magazine for a while. From 2004 to 2014, Kees Jansma served as press officer for the Dutch national soccer team. In 2011, Kees Jansma was named a Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau.
