Jurgen Winkel is producer/musician/artist & performer. He played in the eighties and nineties with underground electro-rock band Blind. They toured Europe for a number of years and played at many festivals.
The red line through the existence of Jurgen Winkel is sound in the broadest sense of the word: he works as a (studio) sound engineer (at SONICriderSTUDIO), FOH engineer and monitor engineer, he also makes music/sound for film/dance & theatre.
Currently Jurgen Winkel - under the name SONICrider - combines electronic music with analogue sounds and produces experimental danceable music in all kinds of styles. During his performances, the audience is led
through a world of images and sound.
