Well-known songs such as “Blue Bossa,” “Lullaby in Birdland,” “The Girl from Ipanema,” “My Favorite Things” in the style of Joe Pass or Sylvain Luc, as well as works by F. Sor, F. Tarrega, H. Villa-Lobos, A. Piazzolla, A. Lauro, L. de Nervaez, D. Scarlatti, J. S. Bach, traditional Spanish flamenco, tango, his own jazzy flamenco, or Bossa Nova-inspired improvisations.
Perfect for special moments in the spotlight or, conversely, to set the mood in the background—at private parties, wedding ceremonies, and after-parties, as well as in living rooms, small churches, gardens, galleries, and museums..... At weddings, he usually plays quiet music such as “Romance Anónimo” or a prelude

Christiaan de Jong is an international artist and one of the few Dutch guitarists specializing in jazz and improvised music on the Spanish guitar. He has performed with musicians such as Oene van Geel, Eric Vloeimans, and Harry Sparnaay, and as a soloist with orchestras in Spain, Finland, Italy, and Germany. He also enjoys giving solo concerts, not only in concert halls but also in small churches, town squares, and living rooms. Original compositions and improvisations, influenced by jazz, avant-garde classical, flamenco, Latin, and Arabic music. Thrilling, virtuosic moments interspersed with moments of introspective calm. For my birthday we organized a party in a café with hall. During the buffet, Christiaan played beautiful flamenco repertoire and was classical repertoire. Sometimes it was a little too loud but the acoustics were not great. A nice performance, thank you!

The performance exceeded my expectations. After some extra google in which I could hear a lot of work and was impressed by the high quality, this was fully realized on the spot. Also in the contact beforehand and on the spot great professionalism. It was a wedding with 65 people, christian played for 3 hours with only a short break during dinner and welcomed evening guests in a garden with a subtle amplifier perfectly tuned in terms of sound level.
