How it began
5 years old, that's how old Iwein was when he first performed. Even then the audience was charmed by the little guy who gave his best
next to daddy. Meanwhile, he has grown "a little" taller, but the charm remains.
Wherever Speelman Iwein comes, children begin to jump, adults to dance and grandmas and grandpas to sing along at the top of their voices. Or they sit and enjoy, because that is Iwein's goal: to have people enjoy his music.
Love for accordion
Iwein discovered the instrument when he was 14 and hasn't been able to go a day without it since. With the help of Philippe Thuriot, Rony Verbiest and Jules Willems, he refined his technique and pulls out all the stops.
Solo he feels like a fish in the water, but his past as a singer/musician in blues and pop groups proves that he is at home in all markets.
But the love for accordion doesn't stop there. Besides playing the accordion, Iwein has his hands full with his specialty store 'Accordeons Viseur'. There you can not only buy your ideal accordion, but also have the instrument repaired!
