Yes-R started rapping at the age of 16. He became known to the general public in 2005 when, together with his cousin Ali B, he scored a mega hit with the song Leipe Mocro Flavour. This was followed by many famous tracks like Rampeneren, Hey Schatje, Uit Elkaar, Onbereikbaar, Me Boy and Diep In De Nacht. In 2017 Yes-R launched his EP El Patron, which was very well received by fans and media.
