Clarence Bekker Milton - once known as CB Milton in the 1990s - has a number of international top-10 hits to his name, including "Send Me An Angel" and "It's A Loving Thing" among others. Clarence is a man with a story. His music has always given him strength to survive and achieve a goal: to conquer the world with his voice, with his energy, with his soul. Clarence was born in Suriname, and at the age of six he moved to the Netherlands. In 1985 he participated in the Soundmixshow with the song Do what you do by Jermaine Jackson. He came third in a preliminary round. Two years later he started singing in The Swinging Soul Machine, in which he was the youngest member. Around 1990, however, he left this group again to start a solo career

In 2011 he opted for a different musical interpretation, a different profile and a different target group. Because a lot has happened in recent years. A lot of things have happened. One thing has definitely not changed; his special and unique voice and his unprecedented talent, his love for music, full of emotion and with energy.

When Clarence settles permanently in Barcelona, he quickly makes a furor there as well and makes many new and interesting contacts in the music world. Because of his enormous passion and love for music, he often plays in the streets. He enjoys this; energizing people with his voice and his music.

His special voice does not go unnoticed by anyone and especially attracts the attention of Mark Johnson from Los Angeles. Mark travels the world in search of the very best musicians to bring them together in a special project; Playing For Change. Mark Johnson is heavily impressed by the extraordinary talent and Clarence is asked for the leads of "Stand By Me. Meanwhile, the clip has over 44 million hits on YouTube!

With Clarence Milton Bekker as frontman of the band Playing For Change, the group attracts a mega audience in the United States, South America, Canada and Europe, among others. Not only is Clarence the favorite with the general American public, radio and TV, but the exceptional voice is also catching the eye of Norman Lear, director/owner, Concord Music Group and John Burk, director A&R Concord Music Group. Both gentlemen are so enormously impressed that they offer Clarence a recording contract. Due to tremendous faith, the best songwriters and producers are approached, and Clarence has spent much of the past year in Los Angeles studios

Clarence has been allowed to work with the very best producers responsible for the hits of Beyonce, Withney Houston, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, and many, many others, among others. In February 2012, the album OLD SOUL will be released worldwide and he has been touring the world for years with the band "Playing For Change."
