Professor Jan Verkade was born out of a collaboration between Jan Kortie and Johan van Genechten. Completely in line with Jan Kortie's philosophy that "everyone can sing and enjoy" Johan van Genechten gives shape to Professor Jan Verkade, Professor of Communication Sciences.



The auditorium will meet a friendly professor, who will give a light-hearted, witty but nonetheless credible response to the subject under discussion. Gradually there are more and more wonderful elements in the lecture. For example, the 'statistics' presented regularly show the word 'singing'.
Most of those present gradually understand that there will be singing. And when they are seduced into making sounds and singing by means of a number of simple and cheerful exercises, they like it too. And then it doesn't even feel like forced, but rather spontaneous. That culminates in a song written for the occasion, to a familiar melody, which is sung at full throttle by the audience. And even after that not everyone is convinced that the scientific calibre of this professor is questionable.
