Greetje de Oude was born in Amsterdam and has been playing the accordion since the age of 6. She graduated as a teacher and performing musician at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. She plays in various music theater, cabaret, dance and musical productions. She has worked for the Film Museum in Amsterdam, Moscow, Boulogne and Paris. She composes the music for authentic, restored silent films. In THE PASSION she played and arranged the song for accordion: Ken jij mij?
Performed for the Dutch Embassy in Nigeria for King's Day. She was allowed to work in Japan for 3 months as music duo Accorde Vi in Nagasaki. Opened the Rijksmuseum for T.V.
In addition she has specialized in playing festive music styles from many countries and also gives various singing workshops She is a part-time teacher at various music schools and conductor of various choirs.
