Pub quizzes are fun quiz nights where teams test their knowledge with questions on topics such as music, sports, film and history. The quiz usually consists of about eight different rounds with varied question types, so everyone can participate regardless of knowledge level.

During the pub quiz, different topics are covered so that the questions remain varied and everyone knows something. Examples of topics include general knowledge, history, film and television, music, sports and sometimes creative rounds such as photo or puzzle rounds. This variety makes the quiz fun for people with different interests and knowledge levels.

Quizzes are often organized at venues or events, but can also be used for team outings, birthdays or other group activities. Teams work together to earn as many points as possible, and at the end it is decided which team got the most questions right and wins the quiz. Besides competition, it's mainly about fun, cooperation and entertainment.
