I am a certified marriage officiant (BABS) in the municipalities of Bergen, Uitgeest, Castricum, and Heiloo, which means I can easily serve as a BABS for one day virtually anywhere in the Netherlands, since some municipalities only accept a one-day BABS if they’ve been appointed and sworn in by another municipality. Plus, it saves quite a bit of hassle and money.

It would be an honor for me to marry you in a religious or civil ceremony.

Getting married is a celebration, and so your ceremony should be too—and I’m well-equipped to make sure it is.
With warmth and attention to detail, I’ll transform your story into a ceremony that’s moving, authentic, and will stay with you and your guests forever.

Whether it’s a small, intimate ceremony or a large one with many guests, your “I do” marks the beginning of a new phase in your lives, and the wedding ceremony is the start of that—so it has to be amazing.
No rush jobs—only custom work.
As a former chairman of Ajax—and thus someone who has always been closely connected to people who have a passion or love for something or someone—I know better than anyone how powerful that sense of connection can be.
Not just on big stages, but especially in the moments that really matter: in family, friendship, and love.

Now, I could certainly write all sorts of things about this in flowery language on this website, but that’s no guarantee that we’ll click or that you’ll feel comfortable having me as your wedding officiant. And if you want to entrust me with this responsibility, I believe that’s a prerequisite.
That’s why I think it’s much better—and more pleasant for you—to first meet up for a cup of coffee, get to know each other, and discuss things back and forth. There’s absolutely no obligation on your part, but it will give you a much better sense of who I am and what I can do for you.
And if you then decide to entrust me with that task, I’d of course be thrilled and give it my all. But if you’d still rather work with someone else, that’s obviously a shame, but I really won’t feel rejected or offended. Because it’s your wedding day. It’s all about you, not me. So don’t worry about that at all. No strings attached.
