I show why play is not a luxury but a necessity in the modern work context. In my talk, I share science-based insights on the impact of play on collaboration, creativity and change capacity. Then we let you feel it: using the LEGO® Serious Play® method, participants experience how to make complex issues tangible, reach shared understanding faster and build concrete actions, literally.

In a time of hybrid working, continuous change and full agendas, "working together faster and better" is no longer a nice-to-have. In this talk, I show why play is not child's play, but a proven work form that increases creativity, focus and ownership. We briefly explore the psychology behind play (safety, experimentation, meaning-making) and translate that to everyday work contexts: strategy, team development, innovation and retrospectives.

Then we move from talking to doing. With LEGO® Serious Play®, participants experience how to literally build ideas, make complex issues visible and reach shared understanding faster. The result: less meeting over interpretations, more progress on shared decisions. The session is energetic, hands-on and immediately applicable.
