In The Seven Pitfalls of Female Leadership, Sabine van Ditzhuijzen takes you through the challenges women face at the top. By combining insights from more than seventy interviews with women leaders with interactive exercises, you will learn to turn pitfalls into opportunities and make an impact within your organization.
Sabine van Ditzhuijzen interviewed more than seventy women leaders and, based on those conversations, compiled a list of the most common pitfalls in female leadership. In this workshop, participants will receive concrete tools to recognize these pitfalls and turn them into opportunities for personal growth and team development.
The 7 pitfalls of female leadership
In this workshop, we explore the seven most common pitfalls that often unconsciously hold women back in their leadership. Through reflection, practical exercises and sharing experiences with other WIN!ners, you will gain insight into your own patterns and discover how to turn these pitfalls into real strengths. You will practice with the pitfalls and create space for awareness, dialogue and aha moments.
To make the workshop even more
relevant, we will collect your most pressing questions and topics in advance via Mentimeter-so that your input directly shapes the session.
In addition, you will learn to look at the broader system within your organization: how does the context contribute to these challenges, and where are opportunities for change? Prior to the workshop, we ask targeted questions of participants and/or the organization. This input serves as a valuable basis for the session and can also be an intervention towards structural improvements.
Who is Sabine van Ditzhuijzen?
Sabine believes in the power of stories. After ten years working in the corporate world at home and abroad as a director of online videos, she has seen a lot: from team dynamics that get out of balance without guidance to the unfiltered personal stories of people. She has worked with organizations such as Accenture, WEF, Stedin and A&O Shearman.
She was known for her drive, always running a step harder, and striving for great results. At some point, she felt this jacket no longer fit her. She wanted to make an impact and contribute something meaningful to the world. Making online videos lost its luster, but storytelling, that which touches and connects people, remained her driving force. Today, she combines her experience in storytelling with her passion for personal development and leadership to help others discover and speak their own stories. As she sees it: this is not just my story, this is our story.
