The Chroma Quartet represents versatility and connection, with a repertoire that ranges from film music/pop and tangos to classical works and chamber music. Our flexibility allows us to adapt to the needs of clients for various projects and compositions. We bring passion and emotion to every performance, whether it's atmospheric concerts, proclamation or reception moments, or intimate performances.

Dear music lover,
It is with great enthusiasm that we introduce the Chroma Quartet, a new semi-professional string quartet in the Zele/Lokeren/Ghent region.
The Chroma Quartet stands for versatility and connection: our repertoire ranges from compelling film music and sparkling tangos to classical masterpieces and choral accompaniment. Atmospheric chamber music and more subdued or emotional music are also featured.
The name "Chroma" refers to color and vibration, and symbolizes our mission to use music to create a rich and vibrant world in which each sound has its own hue and emotion. It also represents the different musical styles and the harmony created when we combine our various influences into one colorful whole.
Our flexibility and versatility allows us to adapt to the wishes of our clients in terms of repertoire and composition.
Chroma Quartet has already performed several projects, including atmospheric chamber music concerts, gracing proclamation and reception moments, and intimate concerts in cozy halls. Each performance is a unique occasion where we share our passion for music and touch the audience with our sounds.

The permanent line-up is 4 people:
- Anthony Pil: Violin/piano/harpsichord/organ
- Michael Pil: Violin/viola
- Briek De Malsche: Viola
- Jakob Dewyspelaere: Cello/horn

Expandable into a string orchestra, for example consisting of 4 violins, 2 violas, 2 cellos, 1 double bass and harpsichord. Also expandable with woodwinds and possibly brass instruments depending on the repertoire

Repertoire can be determined in consultation with the customer, custom arrangements can be written (additional cost)

We can play in the background or as a real performance.

Duration of the performance goes from 30 minutes to 2 hours
