We are Hetty Mertz (flute) and Joke van der Bunt (piano) and together we form duo CrossKeys. We offer a diverse program: from light classical to jazz.

The light classical music we play consists of well known and lesser known classical works from different eras. From Bach, Mozart and contemporaries to romantic compositions with a touch of Mediterranean warmth and drama.
So what we play is very varied: from tuneful to playful and joyful.
Our light music repertoire has a wide variety of styles: jazz, Latin, bossa nova, tango, film music, musical and pop.

A performance by us is suitable as atmospheric background music as well as a small-scale concert.

We can provide:
a musical accompaniment to an opening, presentation or lecture, music during a reception, high-tea or dinner, moments of music at a wedding ceremony or farewell, concert in a nursing home and a living room concert.

In the absence of a piano at the venue, we can also perform with a digital piano. We play acoustically but, if desired, slightly amplified (digital piano and flute with microphone and small sound box).

Hetty Mertz studied flute at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. Joke van der Bunt studied piano light music at the Alkmaar Conservatory.

Subject to availability of the musicians, CrossKeys can be expanded to include (bass) guitar and drums. For an impression listen (Quizas, quizas, quizas). The additional cost for this extension is by mutual agreement.
