We are Michael (cello) and Daniel (violin), and together we form the Javaplein Strings!
Daniel and I have performed in some of the world's leading concert halls from Carnegie Hall to the Concertgebouw. But there is something so gratifying about performing in an intimate setting where music can add just that right touch to your special occasion, be it a wedding, anniversary, birthday party, corporate event or house concert.
As graduates from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, we bring our rich, top-level classical training to a variety of musical genres. We play classics from Bach to Vivaldi but also light pop music from Elvis to Ed Sheeran. Check out our video above to hear some of our most requested repertoire.
Our speciality, though, is in arranging music so if there is a special song for you or your loved one, we know just how to bring it to life on the violin and cello. Daniel's further training in Jazz does wonders for this!
The advantage of a violin-cello duo is that you get the beauty and warmth of a string quartet, but for half the price. That makes us a very
popular choice especially for weddings, parties and house concerts.
