Flames of Chaos combine different disciplines, such as dance, pyrotechnics, live visuals, stiltwalking, fan dancing, sword fighting, fire breathing and poi. The group is known for their burning costumes and their elegant, graceful style. Flames of Chaos perform all kinds of shows, from small-scale, close contact shows, walkround-acts, parades, dance or streettheatre, short performances of five minutes to theatre shows of half an hour.

The group has performed at festivals such as Dance Valley and street festivals in and outside the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, museum nights, weddings, art festivals such as Gogbot, Mooi Weer Spelen, Straattheater Festival Woerden, they have performed at places like Ahoy, Archeon, Gelredome, Keukenhof, Paradiso, Effenaar, Het Paard etc. Flames of Chaos also accompanied the concerts of bands like Epica and The Dreamside
