Barking Bruce is a solid cover band from the Noorderkempen that focuses entirely on the hits of the 90s. This experienced formation brings pure rock covers: raw, energetic and straight from the heart. Think grunge, punk, hip-hop and solid guitars without frills.
With songs by the likes of Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine and Nirvana, Barking Bruce brings a live experience that comes in hard and sticks around. Not a nostalgia trip, but a tribute that pops like it should.
Barking Bruce, led by race entertainer Jef Broes, goes beyond reenacting familiar songs. The band brings an energetic live show full of (punk) rock, grunge, and a touch of hip-hop.
What to expect? No good covers, but solid performances of the biggest 90's hits with a raw edge and here and there their own twist. The band is also not averse to a backing track where it benefits the song (In The End, for example), and their own light and smoke show runs perfectly in sync with the music. Barking Bruce is all about experience.

Barking Bruce manages to put on a great show. Within a short period of time they managed to take the audience of about 30 to 75 years old by the hand and transport them to highlights of the rock of the 80s, 90s and 0s The band is well attuned to each other, knows and masters the songs very well and knows how to handle them brilliantly. Body Count, Nirvana, Rage against the Machine, System of a down, Liquido, Linkin Park, Metallica, to name but a few from the setlist, it all passes by and takes you into a super-energy show where craftsmanship and fun radiate from. Dancing along, jumping along, singing along (shouting), the band gets you loose and is a pleasure to see in the wild
