Bart Spruit is a neoclassical pianist and composer from Enkhuizen (North Holland) who performs solo piano throughout the Netherlands. His music follows in the tradition of Ludovico Einaudi, Joep Beving, and Hania Rani: tranquil, cinematic piano music featuring repetitive motifs, warm harmonies, and plenty of space. Atmospheric enough to serve as background music, beautiful enough to inspire quiet reflection.

What You’ll Get
A 60-minute solo performance (30 to 90 minutes possible, in one or more sets). Bart plays his own compositions, well-known neoclassical pieces, and film music, and tailors the program to the occasion: subdued, atmospheric music during a ceremony or dinner, and a slightly more upbeat selection during a reception. Request songs are possible, provided they are submitted in advance. Acoustic or amplified, to be arranged. Bart prefers to play on a well-tuned upright or grand piano at the venue. If one isn’t available, he’ll bring his own digital piano by arrangement—this allows him to play virtually anywhere.

About His Music
In addition to performing, Bart composes and publishes his own piano music. His compositions are available on all streaming services and have been published as sheet music in the collections *Music from the Heart 1* and *2*, for pianists of all levels. He says of his work: “I want to make music that touches people, without becoming overly complicated.”
