Frank van Etten (1982), born in Stadskanaal and raised in Lelystad and Amsterdam, started singing at an early age at talent shows. With the support of his father, Ton, he grew into a well-known artist.

At the age of 15, Frank entered a talent show, which led to a recording contract. His first minor success came in 2005 with the album Zo Ben Ik, which reached the 82nd spot in the Album Top 100. In 2007, he founded his own record label and released the duet De Nachten Zijn Zo Donker Zonder Jou.

In 2009, Frank broke through nationally with the hit Leef Als Een Zigeuner (Live Like a Gypsy). The album of the same name, with 36 songs, followed shortly thereafter. His participation in the SBS program Blood, Sweat & Tears in 2013 provided additional fame, despite not winning the finals.

Thanks to Leef Als Een Zigeuner and his television appearances, Frank became one of the most booked artists in the Netherlands. In 2017, he scored again with the hit Huisje Op Wielen, which now has more than 34.5 million streams and was nominated for an Edison. In 2018, he released a remix of the song with Yes-R and honored Wesley Sneijder with a special song.
