Machiel van der Aar is the pioneer of live performance with DJs and a highly experienced world-class performer with over 20 years of international experience. He worked with more than 200 DJs, had 2 world hits with DJ Gregor Salto and Fatboy Slim and toured in more than 13 countries. His extensive resume is a household name in the entertainment and club world.

With his tenor saxophone, extroverted show and unparalleled, lightning-fast improvisation, Machiel takes the usually static DJ show to the next level with the necessary live element. There are many possibilities: Machiel can be booked solo without DJ with his tape act of 2 times 35 minutes, or with your own DJ, where he effortlessly plugs into the DJ's equipment with his own mic and monitor and is ready to play within 5 minutes. Or with your own compact sound set for background music (see video 4). He is completely mobile through his own wire-lize equipment, allowing him to approach the audience and put on an immersive show. He plays a number of sets á 20 or 30 minutes, spread over the evening. This way a nicely dosed "live feel" is given to the evening, of course request numbers can be provided, such as special tracks for an opening dance, wedding ceremony, entrance or closing. Machiel brings a USB with proven success songs to streamline a beautiful evening in consultation with your DJ.

One of his other specialties is providing beautiful Ibiza lounge or real jazz background music with his own compact sound set and turning every terrace into a sunny beach pavilion. With 2 speakers on stands he can easily provide a BBQ, reception or drinks for a group of 125 people with exactly the right music. Usually we start with some nice Brazilian bossa nova jazz, gradually adding some more "beat" with for example Hed Kandi Chill or Beach House, to end with some more soulful beats when the mood strikes. If you want to party in the last hour, Machiel has over 70 minutes of saxy party mix with Top 40 and house music to get the party started!
