Saxophonist Ruud de Vries is a well-known saxophonist in the DJ & Saxophone world. Blessed with an emotive, powerful saxophone sound Ruud always knows how to touch people and he brings spectacle to every party at home and abroad. From club to wedding, and from event to festival.
Ruud de Vries is a well-known jazz saxophonist and also one of the very first saxophonists to play along with DJs. His feeling for danceable music, knowledge of various music styles and versatility are the ideal basis for a sparkling Sax & DJ performance. Ruud never disappoints and lifts every party to a higher level.
Playing live with a DJ requires experience, flexibility and creativity to deal with various situations. Ruud has that experience and has played with countless DJs at house parties, events, weddings and festivals. His sax even sounded in China and over the years he was paired with famous DJs such as Erick E, Miss Monica, DJ Jean, Ronald Molendijk and many others.

saxophonist who has distinguished himself for years by his unique powerful sound that knows how to touch everyone. Add to that the easy interaction with the audience and you know: with Ruud de Vries a party becomes a special party that surprises the audience!
Since 2019 Ruud is also active as a producer of dance tracks under the alias 'Soulax'. The 1st track 'Summer Dreamer' was followed by 'H.O.P.E.', 'El Cumbanchero', 'Like a Melody', 'Revenge of the Bamboozled Belly Dancer', 'The Catwalk' and his Remix of the song 'Adocica', to which the famous brazilian 'Lambada-singer' Beto Barbosa personally gave his blessing.

Beforehand there was email contact, phone and app contact. Also the day before to double check everything. On the evening itself the music fit very well. Playing the saxophone was really an extra dimension and everyone enjoyed themselves. Our guests were also very satisfied with the music. Almost everyone hit the dance floor. Great!

Ruud made it a great afternoon! In consultation I gave him the complete freedom of choice of music and he feels flawlessly what the audience (60 people ca.70 years) likes in terms of taste.
