Ruud de Vries is a well-known jazz saxophonist and also one of the first saxophonists who started playing with DJs. His feeling for danceable music, knowledge of various music styles and versatility formed the ideal basis to put down a sparkling Sax & DJ performance every time. Ruud never disappoints!
Playing live with a DJ requires experience, flexibility and creativity to deal with different situations. Ruud has that experience and played with countless DJ's at house parties, events, weddings and festivals. His sax sounded even in China and through the years he was linked to famous DJ's like Erick E, Miss Monica, DJ Jean, Ronald Molendijk and many others.
Ruud de Vries is a saxophonist who is distinguished by his three

Since 2019 Ruud is also active as a producer of dance tracks under the alias 'Soulax'. After the 1st track 'Summer Dreamer' followed 'H.O.P.E.', 'El Cumbanchero', 'Like a Melody', 'Revenge of the Bamboozled Belly Dancer', 'The Catwalk' and his Remix of the song 'Adocica', to which the famous brazilian 'Lambada singer' Beto Barbosa personally gave his blessing

Ruud completed what we wanted from our first contact. He sensed very well which song fitted at which moment and played all our favourite songs and supported them from time to time with the Saxophone. We and our guests enjoyed it. Good timing. Even though he had to go up and down twice because of different venues it was perfect. Especially because he gave our 2 singers my husband who played oknog mouth organ and my daughter gave her boyfriend the opportunity to sing their song as well.
