Resonans-Consort plays a varied repertroire; from world music to classical by 3 music professionals on the nyckelharpa. The nyckelharpa or key fiddle/schlüsselfiedel is still a relatively unknown instrument with a surprising sound. Performances with Resonans are well suited for e.g. festivals, (folk) venues, background music, weddings, exhibitions, castles, country houses, etc

Experience the magisterial sound of the Nyckelharpa. A Swedish folklore instrument played on by 3 professional musicians. From Irish to Swedish, French, Yiddish, Balkan and even classical. Listening music and background music at beautiful locations and festive occasions. The musicians are multi-instrumentalists. They also play other world music instruments like hurdy-gurdy, pipes, violin, clarinet, which gives a wonderful variation to the performance.

The nyckelharpa is originally a medieval instrument that survived time in Sweden, where in the 20th century it was declared the national folk instrument and played a role in Swedish folk music. It regained worldwide fame from there and was rediscovered by a number of professional musicians, including those of Resonans Consort who bring the versatility of the instrument to sound in several genres.
