Looking for a presenter or emcee who can liven things up? Then I’d love to meet you! When I’m on stage, I want both the audience and my “stage partners” to have a good time. And yes, the content of the presentation or the story is important… But humor and energy are just as important!

I now have years of experience as a presenter, quizmaster, and emcee. I was already speaking in front of groups in a “previous life” as an account manager and business development manager. Eventually, though, I’d had enough of that work and decided in 2021 to take the plunge: starting my own business as a freelancer. What do I do? Writing and presenting. Because “language is really my thing, so to speak” (loosely based on Paulien Cornelissen).

My presenting style reflects who I am: informal, with a wide range of interests, energetic, cheerful, and sometimes a bad joke (though I often think they’re funny myself, by the way). And whether it’s for a group of pub quiz participants or a packed room at a business event: I prepare thoroughly for the presentation and—if the setting allows—always get to know my conversation partner(s) personally beforehand. This makes the presentation personal and authentic. Being stared at by hundreds of eyes is pretty nerve-wracking, so I put my audience at ease beforehand whenever necessary. How? With a joke and the message that we’re going to have fun. Because that’s what I do on stage. Fortunately, I regularly get this feedback from people in the audience or at the bar. I firmly believe that the audience wants to be informed, but certainly also entertained. That’s the mindset I bring to the stage. I’d love to meet you if this story resonates with you!
