Rutger is a daytime chairman and journalistic moderator at public and business meetings. He guides conversations where content is central and provides structure, focus and overview on stage. With his journalistic background, he knows how to get to the point quickly and keeps the conversation accessible and engaging for both speakers and audience.

Rutger is used as a daytime speaker at meetings for business, government and community organizations, including business meetings, administrative events and official occasions.

He gained his experience as a presenter and editor at local and regional broadcasters. He presents talk shows on entrepreneurship and politics, in which current topics are discussed with entrepreneurs, administrators and other stakeholders. He has also worked for NOS as a local reporter and is currently active as an editor/reporter at Omroep West.

Prior to his journalism career, Rutger worked in the commercial sector for five years. That background ensures that he understands organizations and decision-making processes well and speaks the language of business. Combined with his journalistic experience, this makes him a moderator who can ask substantive questions. At the same time, he maintains an eye for providing understandable context.

In his role as chairman, Rutger is characterized by thorough preparation and a clear approach. During the preparation he carefully coordinates the program and approach with the client, so that the goal of the meeting is clear. On stage, he monitors the thread of the program, asks targeted questions and ensures coherence between speakers and topics. He keeps an eye on the pace and creates space for interaction, without losing control.
