Down Jones is a raw, unpolished blues rock band that has been touring European stages for over 25 years. With their dynamic and no-nonsense playing style, they bring a swinging mix of solid boogie, powerful blues rock and subdued, sensitive moments, where the energy quickly transfers to the audience.
The band plays their own songs as well as powerful covers of blues-rock legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others. The compelling guitar solos of Jeffrey de Weerd and the energetic drumming of Damian de Weerd (Molokai), along with the spirited vocals and blues harp of Kevin de Harde (known from The Damned and Dirty) and the tight, grooving bass lines of Bobby Jacobs (known from Focus), form a solid foundation that makes each show intense, pure and instantly palpable.

Down Jones experienced turbulent times following the death of singer and harmonica player Frank van Pardo, co-founder of the band, and bassist Cees Booij, who was a regular for many years. Respecting their musical legacy, the band reinvented themselves and continued their musical journey with a renewed lineup. Damian de Weerd and Bobby Jacobs, who previously played together in the Marcel Scherpenzeel Band, along with the other band members add fresh energy to Down Jones' rich history, harmoniously merging past and present.
Known for their intense live performances, Down Jones knows how to touch audiences time and again with music straight from the heart, raw and unadorned. Each performance is an authentic experience you must have experienced at least once.
