Flute piano duo. Repertoire classical, South American and jazz.

Simon van 't Hoff (piano) and Rik Bartels (flute) perform an
accessible and varied program, with well-known works from
Debussy to Gershwin, from Saint-Saëns to Franck, from Pixinguinha to
Piazolla. The piccolo and alto flute will also be played. With the help of
rik Bartels, biologist and flutist, has been making his mark in the world of (flute) music for decades
world of (flute) music. From sought-after orchestral musician to
Jazz sessions on various stages or small-scale productions in theater and
concert hall. Rik Bartels is also in great demand as a flutist with all kinds of
amateur companies, choirs and occasional orchestras.Simon van 't Hoff studied both light music and classical music
at the conservatory in Tiburg. His love and affinity with both light and classical music
and classical music mean that in his work/playing he does not have to limit himself to one genre
to one genre.
Simon is employed as accompanist, rehearser and teacher of support section piano
and teacher of practical harmony. Besides teaching at the conservatory
simon also has an active teaching practice at home. Furthermore, he regularly performs
as an accompanist for choirs and projects. As a solo pianist in
house concerts, in trio "Sibasso" and "Allegria" (piano, bass, vocals and guitar)
and has been part of cabaret group "Grindt" for many years.
