About Helga
Helga van Leur studied Soil, Water and Atmosphere at Wageningen University. In 1994 she did an internship at MeteoConsult, where she stayed for 5 years. She then took another marketing course and decided to become self-employed. This is how she ended up freelancing at RTL, where she worked as
a weather forecaster for 20 years. In 2017, however, she quit and continued as a climate and sustainability ambassador. She is married and has three children.
