The quiet folk pop of this ambitious Utrecht band guarantees subdued songs and atmospheric and intimate performances. Alternating with covers, Siberian Oxygen plays their own, often acoustic songs with subtle arrangements, in which guitar and harmonious vocals form the basis.

Siberian Oxygen arose in 2010 from a musical collaboration between René Mijderwijk and Marcel Bouvrie. The fusion of folk and singer-songwriter elements since then brought an atmospheric and mostly acoustic coloring. Despite the fact that the line-up of Siberian Oxygen has changed over the years, the musical starting point has always remained the same: subdued songs in which guitar and harmonious vocals always guarantee intimate and atmospheric performances. Over the past 10 years, the band has released 2 albums and 2 EPs.

Siberian Oxygen has grown to a six-piece band and performs regularly in and outside its own region at the most diverse venues.
