We are NEMEA & SWOON. A unique folk combo through the combination of handpan, piano and vocals.
After our studies at the conservatory, we have been mainly engaged in making innovative music. The combination of the handpan with the other instruments creates a special atmosphere and dynamic arrangements. We write everything ourselves as much as possible, with here and there a cover interpreted in our own way. NEMEA & SWOON is at its best in an intimate setting with attention to the broad spectrum of sounds
We play mostly acoustic, with only an electric piano that requires power. We can also rent a PA to perform and arrange our own sound in the process.

How beautiful that was! Nemea completely exceeded our expectations! We wanted to open the celebration of our anniversary in a unique way and we certainly succeeded! Nemea plays great music! Beautiful melodies and carefully chosen musical pieces. You can see that she knows what she's doing and has been trained as a musician Even after our opening she gave a nice atmosphere by playing in the background for a while. In one word great. Thanks to Nemea we had an unforgettable day. She is also a very nice and cheerful person and likes to think along with you. In the preliminary phase the communication went very smoothly. Great! For our wedding party we were looking for musical accompaniment during dinner. We found Nemea and that clicked immediately. We had already attended a handpan concert. So we knew a little bit what to expect. fortunately that expectation was completely fulfilled! The handpan sounds created a pleasant atmosphere during dinner. It turned out to be a very good addition. It was a bit of a struggle with the amplification (was still necessary in a hall of 10x15m with a ceiling of ~6m high). But when this was arranged well, the sounds were audible everywhere. The party went all different than planned but Nemea showed herself to be very flexible and took care of the right sounds at the right time. As far as we are concerned, a recommendation. Especially if you're looking for something different.
