The Gobblers play country rock, blues, rock ’n’ roll, and songs from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. A relaxed atmosphere, humor, and the joy of music—those are our cornerstones. We love to be accessible and, above all, connect with our audience. The Gobblers are from Drenthe and Friesland.
We also offer a “Swingo” package in addition to our regular repertoire—and that’s a guaranteed party! Please inquire for more information about this concept.

A Gobbler is a male turkey. A Gobbler is also a glutton. Not exactly important information, but it does explain our band name.
We’re from Drenthe and Friesland
We play an extensive repertoire of country, country rock, blues, and rock & roll, with some forays into the ’70s and ’80s. We choose our repertoire with care and, above all, with our hearts. Our band is all about musical enjoyment, quality, and—most of all—having a great time with our audience and with each other.
In addition to our regular repertoire, we offer a “Swingo” set, which consists mainly of upbeat, familiar party songs and sing-alongs. Lots of Dutch-language music. For the Swingo, we bring all the props, such as hats, glasses, inflatable instruments, microphones, and limbo poles, etc. It’s a party concept and also a bit of a competition. It’s guaranteed to bring a party atmosphere and excitement to your event! We actively engage the crowd. It’s a super fun concept, and people get involved right from the start. There are prizes to be won, and we have two amazing hostesses who help us with the costume parties, crazy activities on the dance floor, and the prize giveaways.
The Swingo is also perfect for a corporate party and can help with team building!
This Swingo can be combined with the rest of our repertoire. We’ll start off slow and then really let loose with the Swingo later in the evening. Ask about the possibilities. A party is guaranteed! We can tailor the event to your needs.
We have our own sound engineer.
