flexible in style and in for all musical excesses with a high swing & groove content. A sympathetic guy who likes to see you go wild at your party, or just quietly strengthen the atmosphere.

Toon Meijer, alias "Saxotone" moves through all musical styles with great success.
A multi-genre Saxophonist, with a great passion for Boogaloo, Souljazz and Rhythm & Blues, with whom he has led his own band Saxotones Groove Mission along Jazz Festivals and Clubs for many years.
In the DJ circuit he is also a very popular musician, ready for any challenge, and able to, by ear improvising, provide all possible dance tracks, Latin grooves, soul classics and pop ballads with a delicious "Saxosaus"!
Toon is that obsessed Saxophonist who senses the atmosphere like no other, and gives every live situation the extra power or sultriness it was just missing!
Continuously performing live with bands, DJ's and all kinds of line-ups is Saxotone's cup of tea. As a bandleader and sideman he travels since years from jazz festival to private party, and from event to theater
Solo sax is only sax, for example with DJ or band already present. For an extra sound set including supporting music and backing tracks, also look at "Sax and Tracks" on this site. In consultation a lot of combinations and line-ups are possible. Toon can also arrange a DJ or Jazz Trio or singer, etc. etc. if desired.
