NEON… a name that instantly evokes the era when pop and rock music shaped an entire generation. The name symbolizes the late 1970s, the 1980s, and the 1990s—three decades in which music was not just listened to, but lived.
The word “Neon” refers to the bright neon signs, colorful shopping streets, nightclubs, entertainment venues, and concert halls that defined the streetscape of that era. Neon was everywhere: in major cities, on stages, in music videos, on album covers, in fashion, and even in the interiors of cafés and clubs. It became the visual symbol of a generation that radiated color, energy, and optimism.

This energetic live show brings together the greatest Dutch and international classics from the late ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s.
THE NEON YEARS is neither a run-of-the-mill cover night nor a nostalgic costume show, but a powerful musical journey through the songs we sang along to in the car, discovered on Walkmans, cassettes, and the radio—and that still bring packed venues together today.
These musicians are from that generation themselves and form a strong live band with surprising arrangements, familiar hits, energy, and a carefully curated repertoire.
