Wakki is a six-person jazz funk formation from Delft that combines the energy of funk and the freedom of jazz with elements from various other genres, including rock, reggae, disco, world music, drum & bass, afrobeat and hip-hop.
The band draws you in with something you recognize. What that is, differs for everyone. Wakki keeps you in its grip with organic and energetic music that makes you listen as well as dance, and takes you on an adventure through the unknown.

We were extremely pleased that Wakki came to perform. In terms of technique everything went well and enjoyed the performance. They were only available a bit later in the day which ensured that the program could start later. Had two sessions, first session with Jazz, second session a bit more disco. Second session expected a bit more, more partying and dancing was promised but did not quite match the expectations of the audience. All in all super fun gig and went well.

We really enjoyed the wonderful music by the guys from Wakki at our garden party. They have their own style and provided a fantastic evening. The communication beforehand was very good. The gentlemen are very polite, neat and well educated. We are fans!!!
