The well-known EO presenter gives lectures on conflicts & solutions, based on his experiences with the TV programme 'Het Familiediner'.

Bert van Leeuwen was born on March 21, 1960, in The Hague. After graduating from high school, he studied Dutch in Leiden. While in college, he ran his own cleaning company.

In 1984, Bert joined the Evangelical Broadcasting Network (EO) as an announcer. He was soon asked to host programs such as *Allround* and *Bert’s Yellow Cab*. In the latter program, he would drive around in a yellow taxi with children in need of help, searching for a solution to their problems.



Many other programs followed, such as *Ik weet het beter*, *Black Out*, *Jong Geleerd*, and *Het Eindexamenjournaal*. On the radio, Bert could be heard on *Het Leeuwendeel* and *Ronduit Music Time*. In 1993, Bert hosted the EO Youth Day for the first time. Thanks in part to his enthusiasm, this event grew into one of the largest Christian events in Europe. After hosting the event for twelve years, he passed the baton to someone else. Afterward, Bert was busy with other programs, such as *Na de diagnose*, *Chirurgenwerk*, *Follow Me*, and *Bodycheck*. In 1999, he started a production company together with a few others.

TV Programs
In recent years, Bert has mainly appeared on *That’s the Question* (until 2012), *Wat weet Nederland?* (until 2013), *De Grote Bijbelquiz*, and *Het Familiediner*. In the latter program, he tries to reunite families whose relationships have been strained by minor or major problems. Bert also appeared on *Rennen voor Twee* and *Face to Face*.
