Hans Elzinga started making his own guitar pieces in the early 1980s. After that he started playing mainly with others (folk, jazz, blues, world music) but recently he has resumed solo performances, now with the technical means that were not there at that time such as loop pedal and other effects. The result is a mix of meditative pieces, folk and americana with jazz influences. Sometimes heavenly and sometimes down to earth. Mainly own but also known work. Sometimes with and sometimes without flute. Often instrumental and sometimes with Spanish and Italian lyrics.
