INDIANAH is a music duo founded in 2018, consisting of sister and brother Shariffa Kanbier [vocals/songwriting] and Jermaine Kanbier [drums/electronics/songwriting]. The duo makes electronic pop music with acoustic elements
Inspired by contemporary electronic music, but also pop and soul, the duo started writing their own material and went into the studio with producer Jack van de Ven. Meanwhile, the duo was support act for the club tour of the English world hit singer Anne-Marie
INDIANAH's singles 'You' and 'Alive' came out on 7/6/2019 and 21/2/2020.
The singles were well-received and added to around 90 Spotify playlists, streamed more than 30,000 times and played in several major retail chains and on Holland's largest internet radio Pinguin FM
INDIANAH will be on display at the
travelling music festival Popronde, which will take place from September to November 2020 in approximately 40 Dutch cities
Currently the duo is working on their debut album.
The show also includes covers (Clean Bandit, Dua Lipa, Anne-Marie, Billie Eilish, Raye, Lauv, etc.)
